 Greetings in the name of our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

It has been an up-hill struggle since we returned to Liberia and started processing the many documents needed for Sectorial Clearance, Accreditation, and Duty-free Exemption. And, because the process continues, we find these words from the Psalmist David encouraging. Hence, we are grateful to the Lord for opening our mind’s eyes to see that “Delay Produces Opportunities.” One of the most dreaded things in life is having to wait. A slight delay in traveling is annoying; even if it is waiting for a traffic light to turn green. Such was the case when we were informed by the nonprofit that the container of medical equipment and supplies, that we expected in December 2022 or the latest January 2023, would not be shipped until after June 2023! What? You mean we will have to wait that long? We were somehow disappointed with the delay. But Christian friends, we say, to God be the glory for the great things He always does! Our hope was almost shattered. For we had promised and invited you all to Liberia to come and see what the Lord is doing through us in the mission field. Then we recalled to mind the Scriptures on waiting: Psalm 27: 13 - 14; Isaiah 40: 31; and Lamentations 3: 25. So, we said to ourselves that if the Lord is in control, and He surely is, then let us trust Him and occupy while waiting. Yes, we started processing the relevant documents for clearance, certification, and Letter of Exemption on medicals with the relevant government ministries and agencies. The process is still in the making. Hopefully, we’ll be ready on time. 

Bible Study Kick-Off!

We have also started Bible Studies again! It is good that we had the delay and that we started early. Since what used to take two to three steps and a week to process now, takes about ten (10) steps and months to process. During the process, we keep going to the One who makes “thick skin” whose name is King Jesus, our resurrected Lord, because trying to get something simple done here is a challenge! In our period of waiting, we were offered an opportunity to acquire a parcel of land for a church building, and we gladly accepted as an answer to our prayers.
