Greetings from Liberia in the name of our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

“Americans and Liberians have been busy celebrating the Independence of both countries, one way or another (July 4 & 26). As we celebrate, let us remember that the best freedom is that which is given by the Lord Jesus Christ." We thank the Lord for all of you who support our Ministry's work in Liberia! It is our prayer that the Lord continues to bless you manifold for your gifts of love. Thank you supporters! Finishing work continues at the KWAM Medical Clinic for dedication and formal opening next year March, by the grace of God. Two things we are learning from the builders here are that they don't seem to know how to provide their clients with accurate estimates: there are always some undocumented expenditure that they expect you to absorb, and act like you should know. The other thing is that they have bad work habits: They'll work hard for a couple of days, then don't show up for a week! Sadly, they expect you, their contract grantors, to understand that they had sickness and/or death in their families. We tell ourselves, "thank the Lord they have returned and don't let your pressure go up." The work continues, praise the Lord! For celebrating Independence Day, we shared from Scripture that true freedom is what we received from Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Who redeemed us from under the wrath of God for our sins. As an act of Christ's love, we shared foodstuff with about 55 elderly persons. About 90 children received prepared meal, while 70 others received biscuits and candies. Sharing was done in two locations. Please see photos below. We have also started work on the foundation of the proposed church. It is our prayer to have it completed soon, and then we can wait and see how the Presidential and Legislative elections will turn out. Please join us to seek the Lord for peaceful elections in October 2023.
